annual period for membership is August
2010 - August 2011. Membership rate is $5 for
individuals and $10 for families. |

Kids Fancy Dress Competition (On religious or cultural theme) |

- This competition will be judged on the depth of information, understanding of the character by the participant and make-up effort along with other logistics
- By religious and cultural theme, we mean that we are looking for fancy dress characters from Ramayana / Mahabharata and /or our culture / History etc
- This way our community kids will get to know about our culture and heritage. And hence the parents are requested to teach their participant kid about the character
- We request parents to prepare their Kids to talk about their Fancy dress character for few seconds
- Please note that we are not looking for characters such as Spiderman, Batman , Michael Jackson etc..nothing filmy at all

Ganpati Drawing Competition: (This is open to Kids and Adults both) |
| Please hand over your picture/sketch at the entrance by 4:30 pm. |
- Hand drawn picture/sketch of “Shree Ganesh” : You can draw this picture/sketch before attending the program and bring it to display at the program
- Recommended size is A4 paper.The Pictures awarded at the program, will be published in “Snehadeep”
- Please mention your name / email address / age and Phone on back side of picture

Dance participation: (This is open to Kids and Adults both) |

- We are accepting entries for regional dances like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Koli dance etc
- Since this is a Ganeshotsav event, the choice of song for the dance needs to be appropriate for the occasion

- We are accepting entries for devotional songs such as Bhav-geet, Bhakti geet and Bhajan
- Even film songs which are appropriate for the occasion will be accepted, but at the discretion of the Committee
- You will need to arrange the accompaniment of Tabla, Peti, Keyboard etc. If you would like to sing on the Karaoke track, we can provide you CD player, but you will need to bring your own CD

| We have started accepting entries for our Diwali magazine – "Snehadeep" |
- If you have softcopies of the articles, paintings, stories, poetries etc then please email those to secretary@austinmarathimandal.org
- If you have these articles handwritten, then please give it to any AMM Committee member so that they can forward it to the person-in-charge
