Dear All, 
We all are experiencing a pandemic situation due to COVID-19 across the country and worldwide. Although there is currently no vaccine to prevent the disease, social distancing is one of the best practices to protect yourself and prevent spreading to others along with guidelines published by the CDC and WHO. During these difficult times, there are many individuals all over North America and abroad who may need assistance.
 
BMM has set up a Toll-Free helpline for anyone who needs assistance to get connected to the Marathi Mandal/ community organizations to find local help. BMM is also connecting with Government Agencies, other social organizations that might be in the best place to resolve any specific issues related to this COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Hope you all are doing great, staying Home safe and healthy!!!
As you may be aware that due to the current pandemic, most of the in-person events are either getting canceled/postponed or conducted online. We too, for the safety of our members/patrons will be hosting AMM's Ganeshotsav event online this year.

This online AMM Ganeshotsav event will comprise of multiple online sessions. Please note down the dates/timings for each online session.

Saturday Aug 15th @10:30am CST - Clay Ganpati making session. 
This one-hour session will be hosted by Mrudula Kulkarni. Those who plan to participate in this DIY session are requested to purchase clay as per the details mentioned below:

For Ganpati preparation required things: 
1. Air-Dry Clay  - Get it from Walmart/ Target or Amazon
2. Paper plate
3. A bowl of water

Saturday Aug 22nd@10:30am CST - AMM Ganpati Pranprathistha-Aarti
This two-hour session will be streamed live on AMM's FB page and also google meet link will be available to join online. This year our Life members - Yogesh & Medha Kulkarni will be performing Pranprathistha for AMM's Ganpati event. Pranprathistha will be followed by Aarti around Noon.

  • 1:00pm CST: Individual entries/performances.

मोगरा! - नाटक नव्हे 'नेटक'

In association with BMM, AMM is pleased to present an online LIVE play मोगरा (Mogara) directed by Hrishikesh Joshi. 

एक नवं कोरं नाटक नव्हे 'नेटक' - मोगरा!

अभिनेता-लेखक-दिग्दर्शक हृषिकेश जोशी यांच्या संकल्पना - दिग्दर्शनातून हे नेटक साकार झाले आहे आणि सहभागी कलाकार आहेत- स्पृहा जोशी, भार्गवी चिरमुले, मयुरा रानडे, गौरी देशपांडे आणि वंदना गुप्ते. Online नाटक ह्या नव्याको-या प्रकारे सादर केले जाणार असल्यामुळे हे नाटक नाही तर 'नेटक' आहे. कोणतेही रेकॉर्डींग न करता रंगभूमीवर होणा-या थेट प्रयोगासारखाच हा नेटक live चा प्रयोग असणार आहे. 5 कलाकार 5 वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणाहून हे नेटक सादर करतील. तेजस रानडे लिखित 'मोगरा' ही बाईपणाची कहाणी असून जगण्याकडे सकारात्मकतेने पाहण्याचा हा एक रंजक प्रयत्न आहे.

Ashrunchi Zali Phule - CANCELLED

नमस्कार मंडळी,

​​Organizers of the Ashrunchi Zali Phule drama tour to the United States have rescheduled it to February-March 2021 time frame. 

 In the above situation, Austin will not have the AZP show on April 12 as planned. Based on current logistics, at this time, we are not in a position to confirm whether this show will happen during the next tour. 

We are working with our ticketing partner TicketHungama.com to issue a refund for all the tickets, including any processing fee. It will be most probably refunded directly within a week or two to those who have purchased the tickets in entirety. TicketHungama is also going through 50 event cancellations and working on refunding the same; hence we appreciate your patience. 

We are still on for the next two dramas; A Perfect Murder (June 20) and Moruchi Mavshi(August 30), so please stay tuned for ticketing information. 

Last but not least, we cannot thank you enough for all your support and all the volunteers who worked hard and tirelessly for months on all the logistics, building sets & props—so special shoutout to all of them and for all their efforts.

मकर संक्रांत And Annual General Meeting

AMM's first event of 2020: मकर संक्रांत and Annual General Meeting.

This event is FREE for AMM Member families.
Non-members can attend AMM's Makar-sankrant event by purchasing the non-member ticket. Tickets include Tea/snacks/Tilgul. All ladies attending हळदी कुंकू will receive वाण (gift).

AMM Annual General Meeting (AGM):
Individuals (18 & above) who are Life Members or who have purchased any Membership (Family or Individual) for 2019-2020 by Feb 2nd, 2020 (3:00 PM), will be eligible to attend AGM. Non-members are not eligible to attend AGM.
