Austin Marathi Mandal Picnic
May 2nd: 3 PM to 7 PM

It is spring. To enjoy this beautiful weather, join us for a fun filled AMM picnic in iconic Zilker Park in the heart of Austin on Saturday May 2nd. There is no better way to celebrate Maharashtra Din (May 1st) with fellow Marathi people with lots of games, yummy food and other fun activities.
AMM has reserved a shaded picnic spot in the Zilker park which is located next to the pool, train station and playscape area. There will be group activities and games for all age groups conducted by AMM.
Venue: Zilker park playscape shelter picnic area (next to playscape/train station/pool)
Cost (snacks and drinks included): Free for members, $5 per person for non-members. But everyone must register.

AMM Sports Day in June 2015!

AMM organized kids and adults sports competition involving Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Cricket, Running and Table Tennis.

February 7: Uttarayan

उत्तरायण is our first program to kick start 2015. It is designed for the entire family.
  • सांगा सांगा शब्द सांगा Created on the lines of “Taboo”. Our team has taken great efforts to craft this considering the vocabulary and age group of our kids. Age groups 5-10 and 10-15.
  • प्रश्नवेध. If you ever wanted to participate in Jeopardy, this is your opportunity. This is for adults.
  • हळदीकुंकू Keeping up with our tradition, AMM will have हळदीकुंकू function for ladies.
